Sorry if this is a re-post, but I replaced the running lights with LEDs today and they worked for a few minutes and then stopped working as running lights and only work as turn signals. I checked the fuses and they look fine. Wondering if it might be a relay issue....

I also put the old bulbs back in and they don’t work as running lights anymore either...only turn signals.

    Anyone else experience this before?

Ok so, everything is working now...returning the LEDs...

I installed LED turn signal/running light bulbs and they worked briefly then stopped working as running lights, only worked as turn signals.

I checked the fuses, no issues. Installed the stock bulbs back in and at first they only worked as turn signals, now they’re working as expected as both running lights/turn signals.

Should’ve just left them alone to begin with.

    That's strange.

FWIW, I wouldn't buy LEDs from any of the local auto parts stores. I buy most of mine from JDMastar.

Thanks, yeah Amazon purchase. Doesn’t surprise me that it’s odd, I usually have odd sh*t like this happen.

LED Conversions are mostly a pain in the ass and not worth the effort. IMO

Generally true, but everyone seems to want to have them. I think the biggest problem is the large number of cheap Chinese products out there. They ruin the market for the relatively few good LED manufacturers. Like many other things, you get what you pay for.

The only LED change that looks good to me is higher output reverse lights.

That would be one good use. But I would wire dedicated LED Lights instead of converting the existing lamps.
