LED Cargo Bed Lights

No experience with the LED Cargo Bed lights YET! Just ordered a set, they are not available here on the west coast but are on almost "ALL" of the trucks i saw on my last visit to San Antonio. They are wired into the interior lights, come on with the dome lights. Very nice if you have a tonneau cover!. Will update after i install them!

 

I just used 5050 led strips

 

Many of us love @mattgecko under bed rail lighting. Full kit, easy install, great instructions.

Does it cost a bit more than assembling parts yourself?

Most likely. But in this case, for me, it was worth it.

 

Building and installing The led strip bedlighting "mod" is very..very basic.
I did front grill led's , footwell lighting (glovebox, console ect..) underhood lighting and the bed lights all for the price of One premade kit.
One of the easiest mods I have done.

Got a how-to/write up with the parts and install process? That would be more helpful than just telling us that you did all of that cheaper than the pre-made kit.

It's really simple. Read through that write up...Then do some ebay searching.
I used solder on some stuff and Quick connectors on others..remote controller ect..depending on your situation.

ACTUALLY, It cost less then half if you build it yourself!!!! For what they charge to just to the bed only, i was able to put in lights in my glovecomparment and center console and yes under my hood!!!!

 

Was definitely planning to do this. www.superbrightleds.com is where I get my leds from.
