LED Conversion

This has probably be asked a million times, but I can’t seem to find the answer I need.

2020 Taco with the LED package. Recently had a rear light go out, so I decided to replace all of my lights with LED’s while I was in there (fwd lights are all LED while rear are halogen).

Headlights off no hyper flash. Headlights on and I’ll get a hyper flash. Installed 50W 6ohm resistor, with no luck.

Either I installed it wrong (one lead on the green wire, other on the black/white wire), or I got the wrong size needed.

Thank you for the help. It’s frustrating trying to figure this out and repair it with minimal tools and google pulling up 600 different results.

 

Not sure how to fix your issue but if you want real LED rears Morimoto makes a quality set

 

Meso customs total taillight stage 1 mod is what I did. It makes your brake and tail lights brighter also uses a switch back bulb to have a proper amber turn signal in the rear using the reverse lens. All of it Fits in the stock taillight lens
