I installed a led light in my dome. It is the one were you replace the factory bulb with a bulb "like" thing that plugs in to the led light. The problem is when I push the fob to lock the door, instead of the beep beep I would normally hear, there is a constant beep and the doors will not lock. I turned the bulb around, same thing. The unlock part of the fob works fine. The light does too. I have searched and I didn't come up with anything. Thanks

That's the behavior when a door is open.

Did you shut all your doors?

I checked and all are shut. I put the factory light back in and now it wont go off(while it is in the door mode). I don't know what I have done? I didn't mess with anything but the dome light.

Dome light will go off in a few minutes if the switch is set to "door"

I closed all of the doors, and checked to make sure it was on door. The light stayed on for 20 minutes. I had to turn it off. Now I am riding and just put ithe light back on door, I opened the passenger door (I am the passenger)and it went off.

All these symptoms sound like you're having an issue with a door switch. Your truck thinks a door is open. Is the "door ajar" light on the dash lit?

I double checked everything as far as doors open. Later on I went out for a ride and when I got back. The locks worked. Dont know what happened. Thank yall for the replies.
