Has anyone with DRL replace the flahser unit to LED flasher unit (CF18) and can confirm if the DRL is still working once you replace to LED flasher unit? I can't seem to find the answer anywhere. I have a 09 that came stock with DRL but want to switch out to LED flasher unit but not sure if I will still get the DRL.

Why wouldn't you? As long as the new lamp is still the same amount of pins, resistance and voltage you should be fine.

Because the DRL flasher unit is bigger and connects to other lines. Thats why I want the info coming from someone who has already done so

I just put LEDs in my turn sigs, and Im getting hyperflash, and there not quite as bright during the day. so you will probably need to get a resistor also

you need a led flasher unit to get it working without the hyperflash. That will work. My concern is flasher unit with cars with DRL.

Yes, a resistor is needed if you swap to LED.

I just tried replacing my 3157 with LED and also got Hyperflashing. What flasher would work for a 2006 and would I need a resistor too and what type

You will need a resistor if you switch to LED for signal usage. There is a voltage difference you need to correct.

So do I need resistors and the LED flasher CF18-08 for them to work correctly. Or could I just get the CF-18 and be fine.
