Led fog lights

Rigid makes a fog light bracket and combine it with the SRM series..... It is awesome.

 

I'm leaning twords that right now with Amber lights though

 

I ordered Amber and got white.... So I'm saving up to get Amber and then transfer my white fog lights to become camping lights.

 

I like it

 

I usually do that with any mod I no longer need. Either repurpose a light or sell it.

 

but only for the 2012 and up.....

 

They have some for 05-11 as well with the D series lights

They have both products from the 2005-15 and include mounts for before the refresh and after the refresh.

 

I think our best bet for updates in emailing KC directly. The KC rep hasn't logged into TW for over two months now.

The Retrofit Source finally decided to reach out to the older models... Interested in a quality comparison. TRS price is about $200, how much were the KC HiLite LED fogs?

 

The closest thing KC already makes that is similar to their proposed Tacoma Gravity LED kit is the Jeep J/K Gravity LED kit priced at $307.78.

 

i was wondering if it was legal to use LED pods on the road or if they can be dimmed to be road legal to be used for road use

i just dont wanna get hassled and pulled over for using them on the road

 

The lights have to be approved by DOT for road use. Almost all off road lights are not permitted for road use. The Rigid DOT approved Dually is the only one legal for highway use that comes to mind.

It has to do with the beam pattern, not the brightness.

 

I was excited to find this thread (I need replacement fogs for my SOS bumper that are plug-and-play with factory wiring), but 3 months with no update from the vendor is not promising.
