You need 13 cool white 3mm LEDs, a super steady hand and ultra fine soldering kit with tips 40-60watt max.

 

Depends on how many you want to change, all of em or just the gauges?

 

It’s 11 background (auto) or 10 if manual transmission
7 Leds for the needles alone
All other lights are 1 led per indicator

I know this has been a while ago, but I'm curious - can you read the odometer with the white background or is it just the camera that makes it look like that in the photo?

 

The odometer shows up as black numbers on white background, zero problems with visibility. I personally love mine. Have heard some people say they feel it's too bright.

 

Ok, cool! It looks good to me and considering we have a dimmer switch in these things I'd be willing to do the white. I've seen the video and think that blue is harder to see and orange is just old at this point. Thanks for the comeback on this I appreciate it.

 

Agree, I do dim mine down when I'm outside the city at night.

 

How many do you need to buy? I’m looking at the same thing
