Okay Guys/Gals,so im in the process of finishing my retrofits and I have a white halo mounted on the front of my projector. I'm wanting the white halo to turn on as soon as I turn the key for accessory power and then stay on while truck is running but only turn off when the truck is turned off so it will be a front end running light. Any ideas are welcome. I've tried tapping into the radio fuse in the engine bay. Any advise would help. Thanks

Taco is mostly stock... for now
I would be doing an anytime fog light mod, and then put the halos on the fog light power supply, maybe.

Or I would just put spst or spdt switch (depending on the final setup and what I wanted to be able to do), on the dash, and grab a tap off of an acc-on power line and connect it to the coil on a relay, then just run straight battery power to the relay, then the other side of the pole goes to the positive of the halos. That way you can override it and turn it off, with the switch, but otherwise it's always on when the key is on or ACC.

If you didn't care about turning it off, and simply wanted it always on, then I'd do what I described above (with the relay), and just omit the switch from the circuit. Easy peasy.

I used an Add-A-Fuse and found a fuse slot that turned on with the ignition.

    Which fuse did you use?

Ive thought about That also but I'd like to reduce wires if possible. Would really like to just tap into a fuse and then ground the halo.

Different car. I used a voltmeter to find fuses that were off with the car off and and on with the ignition, and then put in the add-a-fuse.
