Led halos

Has anyone tried making led halos? I like that the led halos because there visible during the day and you can hook them up to a oznium switch and add some relays and make a light show.

Does anyone have diameter of the circle of there housing? Or maybe their retrofits?

 

sorry my wording is horrible but i cant think of how to explain. maybe this picture will help.

 

The retrofit source has some LED Halos you can order with their kits. I think they are around $15-20 a pair. I dont believe they have any other colors but standard white though.

go to gadgettown.com measure the size halo you need. and gadgettown should have it 5$ a piece and there bright! Alot of the lx guys are using them.
