you know I don't know if there's a scientific term for it or not but LED light does not seem to travel as far as incandescent light... Anyone else know what I'm talking about?

Looks like the guys already took care of it. No LED is going to project correctly in a halogen reflector as numerous others pointed out and on top of sucky performance they emit significant glare blinding oncoming drivers. Most people get glare confused with an upgrade in performance, thinking the light must be brighter, not realizing it is just they don’t have cut offs anymore.

Only other thing I might add is that the Osram +150s are not that great. It seems like they should be, but I think they have too much blue coating. Here is a comparison between the Osram Nightbreaker Laser +150 vs the GE Megalight +130:

These measurements were from an H11 bulb, but I would expect a similar performance comparison with an H4. Both bulbs do coat the high beam filament though, meaning high beam performance would be reduced.

Yes, I cover that in detail near the bottom of this thread in the section on projectors. It is because LEDs have no focus as the assembly is incompatible with an LED light source. See the thread for examples, pictures and more explanation.
