I just got Cree ultras last weekend. Last night drove 3 hours from San Antonio to Houston. Did not get flashed once, which used to happen to me with HIDs. Also have the Morimoto LED fogs. Pretty happy with those so far too. TBH it has only been a week, so not much of trial period but I would say initial impression thumbs up.

thank you, I heat a lot of people say that about the HIDs I don't want something so bright to get pulled over or piss people of so I think I too will LED route. I was checking out the Kensun ones for both the fogs and the head lights but they have mixed reviews. I have heard good things about the Cree LEDs.

Also the only LED I would trust, but I just can't justify the outrageous cost. OEM halogen is fine for me.

I had the BriteAss LED's and they are junk. Between the short lifespan and the fans that cause buzzing in the speakers they aren't worth it. Plus the customer support is terrible and there are a handful of horror stories out there about them.

Right now I'm looking at either the Phillips ones or possible the VLED's LMZ lights since I've had nothing but fantastic customer service from VLEDs with my switchback bulbs and their warranty is pretty good.

The only aftermarket LED headlights I've ever used were VLEDs. I don't know about in the 2012-2015 headlights, but in the 2005-2011 headlights they had a terrible beam pattern and didn't install very will. Super bright however.

I did, three times now - once on the 1st Gen I used to own, again on my 2nd Gen, and finally on my son's 1st Gen.

EASY to install and HIGHLY recommended.

I did this mod as well. No issues whatsoever, never got flashed. Significantly more light than stock.

Ive been doing this for many years on many vehicles and it has never been an issue. I've sat behind a patrol cars with my lights on with 100% confidence as the cut off is identical to stock.

The custom built harness is listed in the foglight thread. There is no off-the-shelf solution I found. Fortunately I think there is still an extra connector at Rallylights, thanks to TjBjornsen, see the post here:

Yes. I'm happy with both the Ultimate Headlight and Ultimate Fog Light upgrades.

Thanks to @crashnburn80 for the great job he did in developing, testing, and documenting them!

    Just a grocery getter
I'm selling an old set I used for about a year before I got my retros. Work great. No issues. Trying to get 60 bucks for them. Comes with everything. Plug and play.
