Here is a post of mine on the subject. I am working on putting together a dedicated 3rd gen thread on projector H11 headlights with the different technologies and how they compare for a better resource. But short story is that LEDs do not work correctly in a halogen projector, as others have mentioned, regardless of what new spin the LED vendor claims somehow makes theirs different. While the glare control is there with the projector shield the optical geometry with LEDs is all wrong which eliminates the focus of the beam and the beams distance projection, as demonstrated in the link below. There is much more to headlight performance than a brighter light source.

I've had 0 issues with my led lows and Fogs. They're definitely brighter, distance is about the same as halogen but with a brighter/brilliant white vs the yellow dim look. Getting ready to do the same to my T4R

agree with the post above. I've ran H11's in my lows and fogs for about a year and am VERY happy. i think they work wonderful in the projectors, more light output for sure and a much crisper white light - which matches our DRL's.

The fogs work great too, but they scatter the light quite a bit. which is fine with me, as i drove a lot in the country on backroads at night. if i forget to turn them off in town, i do tend to have other drivers flash their brights at me. no biggie, i just turn them off in town.

I'm no light snob by any means, and i'm sure you could spend hundreds of dollars getting retrofit headlights or converting to HID or anything else. Or you could spend $50 and 5 minutes of your time to put in the LED's and 99% of the people are very happy with it. I have zero regrets.

Have had the same experience with Morimoto XB LED fog lights and Hikari-Philips LED high & low headlight bulbs. Substantial improvement over stock, IMHO.

Hey, actually decided to to go back to a bright white halogen for now. I picked up the Philips H11 CrystalVision Ultra. I'll post a comparison picture when they arrive. I'm going to do a bit more research on LED and perhaps change out the housing in the future. Really like the look of the TacomaBeast headlights.
