They do have a hi/low and yes, it fires more LED's to give you more ouput.

Aiming them is as easy as aiming your factory headlights, we've got the two screws on the back of the housing that are very easily adjusted. If you don't like how high the patrern is, just crank it down a few turns.

These in a projector situation; game changer. Imagine having your retros last for 10 years!

Do these work ok in a stock housing? Also is it plug and play? Do these fit a first gen?
Lol sorry those are my last questions

They do work in the stock housing, they are plug and play, and as far as I know they do, if the bulb type is the same you should be golden.

I have a hard time getting out of my current mindset and taking merit in these LEDs, however I suppose they could work. I am mostly concerned about heat more than anything... Regardless of what anyone says, a high output LED burns HOT AS FUCK which is the reason for the big heatsink built into LED bars. I see a high output LED melting stuff when just dropped into a stock unit. The tech is there because major auto manufacturers are putting them in their vehicles now. The limiting factor on headlights has been scatter control and distance. I will say this though... When projectors tuned for LED begin to make their way mainstream, I will be one of the first to put them in my Ranger as my next vehicle will hopefully come from the factory with them

We've had no overheating issues with these at all. Checked out every manyfacturer at SEMA and were putting out the best product. I'm anxious to put these into a set of retros so if someone would like to be a guinea pig PM me and we'll work something out.

On these, guys, I'll say it this way I have a choice. I can be the guy who apologizes once about the high price, or I can be the guy who apologizes time and time again for the poor workmanship. In everything I carry, which is a GROWING market, i would far rather be the former, than the latter.

Lol, I only have one headlight currently. If you did some digging you'll see I turn up in just about EVERY headlight fs thread. I will be once I can install a bulb properly lol.

Yup. Haha. The back of my housings were stripped of anything to hold a bulb in place to convert them to LHD. I could duct tape them, but I'll just keep waiting for a new set.
