I've got a deposit down on an allocation at the local dealer for a DCLB TRD Silver offroad. They just got an allocation that is close but he says he can't add LED headlights, just the standard tech package. Seems weird, since on the Toyota build site, for my color (silver) you have to add the LED headlight tech package. Is anyone else running into LED headlights aren't an available option right now?

Aftermarket LED are nice, but the good ones are not cheap.....as Sandiegohasthebesttacos mentioned, it might be worth waiting......or buy it and plan on spending $1,200 or more to upgrade them.

I bought my Silver DCLB OR because it had LED headlights (that and the long bed, the OR was not a requirement but was a plus). The LED headlights were a must for me and I was not disappointed.

If you can wait , just wait.
Don’t be like me who purchased the headlights after the fact at a nice grand price of $1500 . :frusty:

Oh but they do make a huge difference!

Nice looking truck. I know what you mean about priorities. Mine were:

    1. 4x4
    2. Long bed
    3. LED Headlights

I was lucky when I found my Silver 2021 DCLB OR in November of 2020. Got it when they were still willing to deal on price. The only problem with LED Headlights though is when I have to drive my wife's minivan with halogen headlights. I just got so used to the color of the LED's that the halogens almost seem like they are not on.

Don't settle for anything but LED headlights. You'd be doing yourself a disservice

I just upgraded my headlights to LEDs. wait for it if you're already questioning the decision.

I know what you mean about getting use to LED headlights. I drove my wife’s 2015 4Runner and was like wow I didn’t realize my LEDs on my 2021 Tacoma were so much better. A few months later we got a 2022 4Runner with LED headlights. It was my favorite upgrade on the 7 year newer 4Runner. Point of the story, get OEM LED headlights if you have the option!

This 100%. I have the halogens in mine and they are weak and even the H9 bulb upgrade doesn't do a whole lot. I'm glad it's just a lease or I'd be saving for Morimotos or something.

This kit is still a reasonable upgrade, even for a lease vehicle. At least you’ll be able to see for less than $200.
