Led headlight question

I know you need a special wiring harness to put the new led oem tacoma lights on the older models, but what about the other way around.
Long story short, I wanted to have a pair (came off a 2018) retrofitted.

The question came up if I would need anything else.

Please help.

The reverse harness is possible but harder as one ground now feeds to 5 disparate connectors.

The halogen headlights are much lower performers. An RX350 HID is the only reasonable option and a more complicated system without significant performance gain.

Bottom line, it’s a terrible idea. You have the best lights. Better to spend on something else. Lots of choices.

 

Awe. Sad, but thank you. Know of anyone that retrofits the newer led lights? Looking to white them out. My guy only does the older versions.
