    Hi everyone,
The 2023 trd offroad I'm looking to buy is on its way here from being built.
I didn't order it it just happened to have everything I was looking for.

It has the led drls and the led fog lights but doesn't state it has led headlights?

If it has regular halogen bulbs for the headlights I will eventually probably get new led headlights assembly but for now not in the budget. I can't see for crap with halogen bulbs for headlights so for those who have kept the oem assemblies for now but have put in led bulbs what are you all used or recommend?

    Thanks everyone

@crashnburn80 has an entire thread dedicated to exactly what you're asking here. There is a lot to read, but he also summarizes nicely.

LED interior, license plate, and fog lights. More to come.
@Spielightdude as others suggested, the big headlight thread is great and crashnburn80 recommends not using LED or HID bulbs in the stock projectors but if you are set on doing LED the Morimoto 2 Stroke are the best choice but are over $200 IIRC. These Hikari bulbs are about $80 and a close 2nd to the Morimoto bulbs.

I have LED fogs and halogen headlights. I can attest, that the H11 to H9 conversion is one of the best, easiest and cheapest mods to do.

Thats weird. Usually the trucks w/ LED fog lights come with LED headlights as a $485 FIO.

Check ebay, I was able to score a set of OEM LED headlights for around $450. Had minor scratches and one tab that needed to be repaired. You will also need a harness if converting to LEDs.

My tacoma is still in transit and isn't here yet.
What I thought was weird is on the build sheet it states led drl and led fog light but does not mention led headlights.
So didn't want to assume it had the led headlights as I also didn't see the 450.00 charge for them.
I am hoping it.does but if not looking at options to upgrade a little for now so I can see better till I go full headlights assembly upgrading.
Thank you all I am looking at everything everyone has sent me for info.
It's all very helpful thank you!

What you can do is build 'your' truck on the toyota site and compre the pricing with your build sheet.

I've never seen a package that only had LED fogs and DRL. Only LED Fogs/ DRL/ Headlights for $485

You will have halogen headlights with LED DRLs and LED fogs, you will not have LED headlights.

The best upgrade is to buy the OEM Toyota LED headlights and swap out the entire light. @daveeasa sells the conversion harness at a quite reasonable price.

Next best is swapping the H11 bulbs to H9's (still halogen).

After that (IMO) is doing the H9 and adding good aux lighting. This is good all the way around if you are looking for high beam performance, adding aux lights for low beams opens a can of worms that Crash would be better able to speak to.

I have the Hikari Ultra (eye of megatron) lights in my high beams. I did detailed output measurements and the 2nd best PNP LED bulb tested here didn't exceed halogen output (in the highs) at 100', admittedly I do like the color and the beam seems to have a bit more width, but it does not have more range.
I tried them in the low beams and was underwhelmed, I felt there was zero improvement over the H9 (a bit more white however).

Doesn't come w/ LEDs. Because of that I personally tried Morimoto HIDs, Diode Dynamics LEDs (not bright enough, had to use my Rigid Industries fogs constantly) - now on AlphaRex Nova Series Headlight (and no longer need to use fogs).

Thanks everyone, was planning on amber ditch lights and a behind the lower grill led bar in the future as well.
Depending in how the oem led fog lights are I may swap them out for amber ones as well. I live in a very wooded back country town with no street lights and lot of wildlife that likes to jump out at you at the worst possible times.

Do you have the VIN? The factory build can be checked.

I can get the vin very easily, how does one check the factory build aside from the manroney label?

    Thank you!
I looked up the Vin and ran it through the link.
What's on the Manroney doesn't 100% match and I ran the Vin off the label.
Unless I'm missing something on the linked site?
    Thanks again everyone

Bought my aftermarket LEDs on Amazon. Can't remember the brand but I do remember that there were dozens of well-reviewed options. I've had no issues with mine.
