On the product page he has a picture of the backside of the sidemarker, basically you cut a big rectangle into the back (doesn't have to be pretty you won't see it) and slot the side marker in I jb welded mine like the product page suggests. Then he provides a wiring diagram to LED driver provided, its pretty basic. I believe its white/red for 50%/100% white brightness DRL, black is ground, and the yellow tap is your turn signal. If you don't want a dimmer then you just put red tap on a +12v that's on when you want the sidemarker on then yellow tap onto your turn signal and you're done.

Personally I just tapped onto the add a fuse I had on my INJ fuse for my grille lights and then took a meter to my turn signal connector and found my turn signal wire and tapped into it, all together it took maybe 10 minutes to do the 4 switchback wires per headlight I had. If you need more help pm me and I'll take pics of what I did.

I have a set of stage 1s in my headlights and everything worked great for about a month but now front signals, side markers, and hazards don't work. Ambers still work and also flash when I lock the truck. thinking it must be the hazard/signal fuse but not sure why it would have blown since it's a 15A. Anyone had anything like this happen before?

Has anyone tried to apply amber spray tint to the solid HD amber strips? I’m wondering if it wouldn’t dampen the output too much to spray-tint the phosphorous coating. Maybe this is a question for @Diode Dynamics — I’m looking to change the hue just slightly. At the same time I’m not trying to ruin $80 LED strips.

From what I’ve read on HID planet, don’t do it. The coating on the strips from DD is the same as the halos I believe. People have tried painting the halos and it looks good until it dries. The phosphorus coating causes the paint to crack since it can flex.
You could try tinting it with film, it’s a 3”straight line, can’t be that hard.

You took your bumper off to take your headlights off, baked your headlights, ripped them in half, cut your side markers, and then re-baked them... but you’re afraid of T-Taps? It’s the only portion of your mod that’s reversible

Send me a picture of the plug coming out of your DRL strip and the plug coming out of your turn signal bucket.

    hahahaha
I actually did not do my own bhlm. I have no time to mess with that as i have two toddlers, putting my wife through college and i work rotating 12hr shifts. Wiring has never been something im into. You don’t know me, or you’d feel stupid laughing at me for asking guidance on this. I dont know how old you are but i have been helping my old man rebuild engines since 1986. Its not that i dont understand wiring, I just hate fucking with it. it ain’t my cup of tea. if you don’t have anything constructive or helpful to say, how about just shut the fuck up. ;)
Keyboard personalities are funny. Kinda doubt you’d just laugh in my face over my question, but have the lack of manners to do it over a computer. Grow up

Clearly someone doesn’t understand friendly badgering (evidenced by me offering to help in the second part of the post). Now I just hope you don’t crimp your fuel line, bud. Best of luck!

The t-taps are not something i have ever used. I have wired two model a ford hotrods, and a triumph chopper completely. Never used these. the ones that came on my diode dynamic harmesses had been heat shrinked in such a way that the clips cannot be opened. I figured this out on my own through googling how theyre supposed to work. I had to pry them apart almost breaking them to open them since they were rendered almost useless by whoever assembled them prior to shipping them to me.
that pink heat shrink end is supposed to be put on AFTER the line has been tapped into.
Not knowing anything about these, i was stumped as to how the fuck i was supposed to tap with them as they couldnt even be opened 826612F8-22C1-4613-B114-9FFC5CBBC8DC.jpg

From looking at that I see two parts. Light red male spade lug and dark red T tap. You can try pulling them apart. Super easy to purchase individually if you need replacements.

pull the solid red portion out of the clear red connector. At that point you’ll be able to open the solid red part (which is the actual tap)
