Hey group, super interested in getting LED 6k bulbs put in on brights, dims, and fog lights. Anyone have any suggestions on preferred brand? Looking for a high quality product for sure, thanks!

TRS and xenondepot are very reputable vendors. Don't get the cheap eBay junks. Never work more than two weeks. Philips Ultinon are among the best bulbs out there but marginally brighter than Halogen and a far cry from HID.

I've been running the Cree kit from Motorfiend.Com in my Subaru for more than a year. Brighter and better beam pattern than the no-name 35W HID kit it replaced.

Note: avoid the no-name kit with the interchangeable color film. Those are reportedly crap.

Off topic if you care to read but I put in a 55W HID Morimoto from TRS. Solid kit. I can see at least 1 1/2 football field ahead of me awashed in white light and every night creature eyeballs blinking back. I only got flashed a few times when go up the hills but the Tacoma projection lenses has such a nice cut off that I'm not worry about blinding people. I'd give LED another year to catch up but for now I'm happy with HIDs.

I've installed OPT-7 Blitz 55w 6000k HIDs. I payed 48 bucks with free shipping and that included relays which were not needed. It was an extremely easy install. Practically plug and play. Only issue was they didn't come on the first time and I switched the polarity wire 180 degrees and then they worked. They look amazing IMO. I also have OPT-7 LED's in my fogs. The combination is pretty bright. I was flipped off last night by a guy in an old jaguar that was sitting oddly low and had absolutely no tint in the rear window I just turned on my brights after he let the finger fly for about 10 seconds. He was super pissed but it had to be the way his car sat and no tint in the rear window. Otherwise I haven't been flashed or anything else.

^DGAF about glare in someone's rear window. Cars come with dimming mirrors (automatic or manual) for a reason. As long as your lights don't cause excess glare for oncoming traffic, you are good.
