Yeah, they are what I used for 8 gauge power and my front camera. Easier than the driver side. I'll give you 12' total of wire and maybe I'll even be nice and do 6' of braided after the pvc ends? Just tricky for me to know how much braided, I just leave that unshrunk and let you deal with it?

Actually, I think you can just ignore me and connect your v5's in the passenger kick panel and you're good to go?

Is there a harness for that?

Point being, instead of running my white/red and the meso passenger white/red to driver kick to connect to driver white/red, just run driver white/red to passenger kick across the dash and splice them all together in the passenger kick.

I include heat shrink butt connectors x 4 for grille lights and v5's (one pair for each) and some outer heat shrink to make it look nice-ish.

That’s what my plan was since they need to be spliced anyways. For a second there I thought you meant I could avoid running wires through the firewall altogether.

We have discussed that a bunch but don't have anything remotely ready there. We are (mostly Johnny is) working on it to some degree. It gets a bit more complicated than I realized for a few silly reasons based on how the stalk works.

So, @WaitingOnMyR1T, to do passenger side to my preferences would require color matching. And it just so happens I neglected to order TXL in green and blue. I have barely enough green but no blue.

    Options:

    1. Order up 18 txl in blue and green. I'll probably do this no matter what
    2. Use purple instead of blue (this pains me)
    3. Use pink instead of blue (driver side parking light color) but this just seems worse than purple

I'm thinking if you're not in need of this urgently we are best to order up the proper 18 txl in blue and green so as to not cause me great sorrow.

A few have asked about how the T tap works for switchback v5's and grille lights (@Dam325)

I'll post photos to help clarify once I build the next sets.

It boils down to a T tap vs direct feed.

Feedback for others, my t tap for v5's plus raptor lights arrived and the quality is excellent, install was simple as can be. Took less than 5 minutes from pop the hood, through the firewall and connecting to my v5's wiring under the dash, including tidying up the run. Can't ask for an easier solution. I haven't run (or bought) raptors, probably never will but the plug is right there if I ever decide to do it.

    Thanks Dave!

Wow, I take a ton more time to feed through the firewall but I'm guessing without the clutch fluid reservoir and clutch pedal in the way it might be a tad easier? Still, 5 minutes sounds super fast to me.

Well, I already had the 4 gauge run through there, so I was able to cram it next to that and it fed right through. And yeah the large pass through is nice and accessible on the autos. Ran my compressor switch wiring through at the same time. Was ready with the wire hanger etc but didn't need it.

Here is a photo of my v5 switchback LED T tap next to the one MESO has available for halogen headlights. It’s the same basic idea although I have settled on a standard 3 pin AMP connector and I also tap the ground. This allows me to have a modular approach so I can do grille lights and the v5’s off a single T. More photos of that setup when I get to @WaitingOnMyR1T ’s T tap next once the wire arrives.

NOTE that the halogen T (bottom right) is not included with my bundle, it’s there merely for reference in this photo.

@WaitingOnMyR1T the wire I need to make your passenger side T tap arrived today. However, I'm hauling horses through Tuesday. I plan to build yours Wednesday night and ship Thursday morning. Apologies for the delay.

Yes I can. R4T also sells this as a complete plug and play solution including the lights. But if people ask like you did I can make them. I actually have one pre made but of all things I’m short on, 3 position AMP female happens to be the one these days.

Bottom line, I can do it but consider r4t’s option too?

Hey Dave, do you know if this would work with the Morimoto XB headlights?
