LED Headlight T Harness

This thread is for trucks which came from the factory with OEM LED headlights. I have a different thread for trucks which came with halogen headlights wishing to convert to OEM LED headlights.

Morimoto xb’s come with a harness I believe? The v1 is not as good performance-wise as OEM LED but the v2 xb does have higher output. Crashnburn80 has full reviews on both. I would rate it a “don’t buy” but some have purchased and like them. I don’t really see any morimoto products I like on the market, lots of quality control problems and design questions.

 

@daveeasa - what would I need to order to run MESO V5 DRLs and Raptor lights on my 2020 Pro?

That is helpful, let me make it a bit more prominent in the first post.

It was a genuine question about how better to inform. When multiple people ask the same question it means an improvement can be made, your information helps me improve.

 

So just that I'm understanding this right I currently have grille lights that only come on when the headlights are on and with this they will be on all the time besides when the headlight switch is turn all the way off? Also will these back feed into the parking lights so that they are on whenever the DRL is on?

more specifically, the diode module is used to prevent backfeed.

 

Quick note that I'm putting together a plug and play kit for DD SSC3 fog lights with backlighting for people with an LED T harness, OEM LED conversion harness with grille lights, or a halogen T harness (I plan to offer those soon too just for completeness).

I'll get things built and photographed and post here in the future.

 

Ordered the LED T harness and the V5 harness last night. Thanks for making these! I can now have my V5's and grill lights function the way I've always wanted

just wanted to confirm before i placed an order. i have OEM LED headlights and only want to add the V5 switchbacks. so i would only need to order the LED T harness? no need for the bottom one? or would i still need both?
