No, no, no. You’re still not with me.

You said you were banging the neighbor and your wife hasn’t complained.

I asked if he was complaining. You never said your neighbor was a woman. Get it? Anything?

    *sigh*

In the day of non binary... you are assuming the neighbor was human... maybe canine or bovine... lots of deer out this time of year... and squirrels...

3rd gens low beams are projectors and have a cutoff so the the only way you could be blinding someone is if you had your high beams on or your low beams aimed too high. X2 on the Hikari ultras. Flame away.

Are there any black Friday sales on non binary LEDs? Assuming those won't blind on coming vehicles.

I put Auxbeams in my highs and lows (6000K) and JDM Astars (gold yellow) in my fogs. Been running those for almost a year now. Not once have I been flashed. I think Auxbeam even has a Black Friday sale going on today.

Not being flashed is not indicative of anything. It only means you didn't get flashed. I see LED assholes every single day (night) here in L.A. and I can't remember the last time I flashed someone. Usually there are enough other cars around that flashing only pisses off the person in front of you as well, so there's little point. And just because you've got a projector housing with a "cut off" does not mean you will not get illegal and unsafe amount of spurious light where it's not supposed to go. JFC, lighting companies like Hella and Koito use actual certified lighting engineers to design safe effective lighting that meets the legal specifications in the parts of the world where they are sold. As soon as you decide all of a sudden that you've got more experience and knowledge just because you "think" it looks or performs better, you're endangering not only yourself but everyone else around you. If you want good, safe LED lights on your truck, order up a set of the TRD Pro's from you local dealer. They're less than $1400, which is quite reasonable for a well designed light made to fit your vehicle that has been legitimately tested to pass all U.S. standards.

The Hikari ultras have been tested by the local lighting guru @crashnburn80 so I don’t just “think” they are better then stock. And the “cutoff” does keep light from going where it’s not suppose to go, that’s it’s whole purpose. The assholes you are referring to are dropping led bulbs in standard reflectors because it looks cool brah. Most leds suck in our projectors but not all of them.

I have these. They don’t really show it well in the pics on Amazon but they are smoked glass and looks way better then the stock ones IMO.

I bought the black bezel ones after reading @crashnburn80 comparison versus the Morimoto’s. They’re OEM and way better than what came stock. Good wide angle, light up the sides of the road well. Great cutoff, but not as much forward throw as KC G4’s or the Rigid SAE’s. For the price, you can’t beat the performance.
Edit: ordered them from my local dealer who price matched Amazon.

I have facts on them, covered in the link below. They are higher output than Morimotos, cheaper, and OEM.

Thanks crashnburn. I've only been on here for a couple weeks but I have often read through your posts. I guess I missed that on. One of my concerns with the leds is the lack of heat generation and winter has started here in Nova Scotia already.

They will freeze over in icing conditions, they have no forward heat generation.

The best LED fogs for heat generation are those that use a filtering lens on a high color temp LED for selective yellow output. Since light is energy, when you filter it with an amber filter lens to make high color temp light yellow, the lens absorbs that energy by removing the blue light and gets hot. The D-series selective yellows use higher color temp LEDs than the 360s and therefore the lens must absorb more high color temp light, thus more energy, and therefore gets hotter. One of the reasons I currently run the D-series in selective yellow, it has the hottest lens as well as highest intensity selective yellow output and the best resistance to icing. I keep advocating for someone to build a proper heated lens LED fog like some of the headlights, but till then this is the next best thing. It does take a while for a lens to heat up from filtration energy absorption, it won’t be instant heat like halogen and may not be adequate in all scenarios, but it will perform the best against icing among the LED fogs. See the reviews below:

I believe they are a direct fog light replacement from what I have read.
