easy! I just had to undo the 2 bolts for the windshield fluid reservoir and loosen my battery tie down to get my LED's in. I love mine, they've been going strong for a month or so, not one person has flashed me yet.

So these lights have fans on the back? The question is, will they hold up offroad.

That's probably the route I'll go. I don't plan on doing a BHLM to mine this time so no reason to remove them unless I absolutely have too.

I bought a set based on reviews in the thread here about them but went back to my Philips Xtremevision halogens. Yes, the lows may be a bit better but they are kinda like not having brights any more. Yes they do change but not like halogens do where clearly you have low and highs. My HID fogs basically lit up close to the truck and out good 30 yards and the LED lows were lighting the same area. The halogen lows hit out past where the fogs do then brights and light bar Hellas HIDs go out further. The LEDs aren't utilizing the whole reflector bowl, just top or bottom half depending on low or bright being used. For me, it just wasn't an improvement over what I already had so I sold them and somebody here got a good deal on a set with less than 2 hrs run time on them. It was the same for HID H4s, liked the lows but the highs sucked. I am just staying with halogen on the mandatory lighting and HIDs for fogs/Hellas which are optional.

I'm not so worried about the High Beams. My 40" LED light bar is wired into my High Beam circuit so it comes on when I flip my High Beams on (yes I can / and do turn it off independently when need be). But where I travel to work I run the LED bar 90% of the time because I'm the only one on the road. It throws light nearly a mile down the road so High Beams are not an issue for me. Low beams are more of a issue which is why I'm intrigued about these and I'm willing to test them out.

    40" LED bar.

No. But considering I'm the only one on the road at 5:30am driving country roads by myself I'm not worried. I don't use it in town or regular roads but where I have to drive there are deer everywhere so it gives me a little more of a advantage to seeing them first.

Lighting is bad because I hadn't figured out the low light settings on the GoPro yet but this is the area I have to drive.

That definitely throws some light, but damn, these trucks need adaptive HID's.

Once you get used to your beams bending around corners, there's no going back.

I wish it was a better video but that was right after I bought the camera and was still figuring out the settings.

Yeah... Adaptive lighting... that would be awesome. I've never got a chance to use it but I've heard it is great.

You've really got me thinking about a light bar now. I can't ever seem to get enough light, and I mostly drive country roads anyway.

I've been really happy with mine. It's a combo flood / spot so it floods the side of the road but spots straight down the middle. It will kill vampires. I drive 24 miles of road just like that in the video and I "might" meet one car the entire time. In the fall there are deer everywhere so any advantage I can get I'll take.

I drive 47 miles each way to work, through the middle no fucking where.

An led light bar is my next purchase.

I'm thinking a 20" or 24" mounted in the grill (I like when stuff is hidden).

off topic, but those lights bars are bad ass! Has anyone seen LED in the 4300k range for fog lights?

Haven't messed with LED's in the fogs. I use the Nokya Hyper Yellow bulbs just because I like how they look. We all know yellow doesn't do shit in fog so it's just for looks.
