Ive seen a ton of posts throughout all sorts of Forums regarding Headlights. Ive gone through 4 different types of bulbs on my tacoma, and just wanted to show some pics of by far the favorite bulbs I've put in. First of all the bulbs I've had in my tacoma are:
    The stock halogen bulbs,
    Sylvania Silverstar zXes
    High End CanBus 6K HIDs
    & Brite Ass LEDs

Each of the first three had their pros and cons but since I have had the Brite Ass LEDs I haven't had anything to complain about at all. I loved the intensity and color temperature of the HIDs, but cons were I hated the warm up time; I didn't want to do a Bi-Xenon kit, so I didn't have high beams; and over time the ballasts were starting to go so I would have to flick them on multiple times for the bulbs to strike. With the Brite Ass LEDs they turn on at full intensity instantly, the color temperature is still equivalent, I have my high beams back, and truthfully, they really hold their name. They are definitely some of the brightest bulbs I've seen. I was really impressed when I received the bulbs, they are plug and play, and super easy to install. Plus they are CanBus so they will never throw any codes.
Ive seen a ton of LED bulbs in the past and wanted to get some before, however every one I could find had random no name LEDs in them, after seeing Brite Ass LEDs I found out that these have CREE leds in them, and the warranty put them way above anyone else in my book. If y'all are looking for headlights I definitely recommend these. Feel free to message me with any questions or for more pics of mine, and if you want more info check them out at:

Very nice. How's the cutoff compared to stock (like when you're facing a wall 6' away)? I don't like how HID kits in reflector housings cause all sorts of glare, but I would like something brighter than halogens. I've made my fair share of retrofits, and I just don't have the time anymore.

Hey Man, I actually haven't seen how high the cutoff is, against a wall, with these. I have a 2013 so I don't want to retrofit mine either, mainly just because housings are still expensive. I will say though the field most definitely has a lot more consistent coverage, and with my HIDs everyone hated them. I got high beam flashes from people all the time with them, that was another thing I couldn't stand about them, but with these bulbs I actually haven't had anyone give me their high beams. I have had people tilt their rear view mirror up if I am behind them, but thats only really if their in a car and my headlights are right there. I can take a look tonight and see what the cutoff line looks like. Hope that helps.

Your profile says you're in Charlotte, and Brite Ass LEDs is in Waxhaw. Charlotte and Waxhaw are 20 miles away from each other.

Are you an owner or employee of Brite Ass LEDs? Or just coincidentally you're here fapping their product and you're neighbors?

ALL of your posts on TW have been about Brite Ass LEDs.

Do you have any pics with the fog lights turned off? I'd like to see how these LED headlights perform alone.

Haha I am not man, I knew they were based out of NC, didn't they were based out of Waxhaw. Theres a few after market parts shops and performance centers around Charlotte that carry them. Thats where I heard about them. Just a super impressed customer haha.

    Thanks for clarifying.

I hate when retailers or manufacturers pretend to be customers, and you guys are pretty close to each other so had to ask.

They look bright, much brighter than other brands of LED bulbs I've seen posted. How long have you ran them?

The fogs are LED too! I can try to snap a few pics later with them off, but I don't currently have any

Yeah man, I saw them in a pic on a Silverado in a store, and thats what sold me. Pics still really don't do them justice though. Ive ran them for about the past month, no issues what so ever so far, and a huge factor for me was the fact that they are warranting these bulbs for 2 years.

hmmmm I wonder how well LED bulbs would perform in a projector. im assuming it wouldnt make a difference.. as long as the leds are positioned correctly, giving all around light output.

but.. would they be as bright as HIDs? I'm thinking not..

but then again.. the idea of no ballasts and the pure white of an LED is whats catching my eye..

I haven't seen them in projectors yet, My buddy has a tundra and he is looking to get these for his. The bulb has a different shape to it than a traditional HID or Halogen bulb, so I am not even sure if they would fit in a retrofitted housing or something with projectors.
As far as brightness though I had 6k 55w HIDs in my truck before this and they easily have the output matched if not exceeded. Each of these bulbs is like 3500lm or something close. Its on their website

hmmm.. as much as I would like to believe them to be as bright, if not brighter.. the quality/brightness of ballasts and bulbs can differ. (your setup may be different than mine)

I have ran several brands of ballasts and bulbs.. and some where brighter and better than others.

the Kelvin rating will make a difference as well. my 5k appear to be brighter than my 6k bulbs I have had in the past. "pure" white vs hint of blue.

wont really get the answer im looking for without comparing them to my actual setup unfortunately.

BUT.. if i could try em.. and they worked.. great! if not.. would hope i could return them.
