Just ordered a set of HL and Fogs. Plan on installing this weekend after trip to SEMA. Sent several emails to clarify and will be doing a trip over the Sierra's the following week so will have a very good perspective on how well/or not, the lights behave. I know how well the stock lights work so this will be evident to me. I plan on taking installation pictures as well. So for now, this post is worthless without pictures :) They will be appearing soon...

Subscribed for cutoff pics. Those first pics look awfully bright and there is no cutoff that si see which means you would be blinding everyone coming at you and getting flashed by those who feel like taking the time to say so.

Assuming the LED bulbs are engineered/built correctly, the light originates from the same spot that the filament would be on a standard halogen bulb, so the "cutoff" should be the same. However, halogen bulbs don't have a true cutoff like an HID would, so these bulbs are basically the equivalent of a very bright halogen bulb. Assuming they are aimed corrected, they shouldn't blind oncoming drivers.

I haven't seen an LED bulb yet that (from pics anyway) has as sharp as a cutoff as my Sylvania's do. If this is the LED that ignites the road surface and doesn't spill a ton of light vertically like the others do I'd be really interested.

This was their response to my "cutoff" question:

    >Regarding the cutoff line, when the low beams are on the bulb emits 180
    > degrees of light to the top of the housing (which reflects it down and out)
    > and puts off a very nice beam pattern. With the high beams are on, they
    > emit a pure white, extremely consistent light.

I'll do some before/after pics. Maybe I can get one side in and get a good representation of what they look like.

Ideally you could park the truck, take a before pic, change bulbs, take after pic. Same distance to garage door or whatever, same everything except bulbs.

My driveway is a little steep to get more than 10' from the garage door, but, if it's the same with both lights, it shouldn't matter. I don't have street lights where I am so it'll be plenty dark.

If we are making requests.. Pic of original bulbs. Pic of one LED comparing to original. Then pic of both. But that's a lot to ask a guy.

It can and will be done. I'm just as anal as the next guy and want to know myself. I tend to do detailed work and know how much it's helped me by others doing fine detail writing/pictures. Bare with me through the weekend. When I return from SEMA we have a wedding (not mine) at our house Sat. so Sun. will be mine and may take until Monday.

I really want to pull the trigger on these but the lack of reviews even on their own site is concerning. Nothing online or youtube?? I am very interested but hesitant

If you're buying trendy items and clinging tight onto a warranty to make you feel better then keep in mind, a lifetime warranty is worthless if a company isn't around anymore. A 2 year warranty is nice, but if they fold in the next 2 years then it doesn't make a difference.

50% chance either way. Not bagging anybody, just keep in mind a warranty is words just like guarantees are, they are only as durable as the company behind them, and not every company lasts.
