Is that your experience with them? On my wife's RDX, I installed them in September 2016 and they have been great so far, so I guess by March I should know if they burn out.

    all tore up already
Or go with a h9 quality bulb and do the mod to make it fit. Then you will be rivaling hids! Ok maybe not quite hid, but more light than any led short of a light bar

I know this is about LED's but here's me experience with DDM. I've purchaced several HID kits and replacement bulbs from DDM all absolute crap, prepare to have to replace parts within a year. I have an HID kit from Retrofit Source (Morimoto) installed in a vehicle that are still going strong over 3 years now.

In my 2015 Juke with factory projectors but halogen bulbs, I installed 2 Stroke (whatever the hell that means) Morimoto LED kit. They work better than halogens but suck in the rain and fog. To be fair, halogen's suck in the rain and fog too. I have the feeling that HID's would throw light further down the road but I'll keep this setup until they fail and then try HID's.

Damn, that's unfortunate. I already got them from Amazon for the Tacoma.

I'll still go ahead to take pics of side by side with stock vs these.

I have op7 leds and I like them. 2 year warrenty if you have any issues and I got them in 2 days with Amazon prime. Easy install, looks good, and they are very bright.

Ran opt7 for the last 7-8 months, just ordered the 2strokes to replace them. The opt7's were disappointing, but not to the point where I wanted or needed to go back to halogen. With the weather conditions in the PNW, it's gotten to the point where its arguably unsafe to run them.

Hoping opt7 will be willing to take their product back.

I did the H9 halogen conversion and am pleased here is what it looks like and only cost 35 bucks, sorry for blurry on side of the road pic lol. They work well in rain as well.

Possible, but unlikely. My complaints are the same as most others: doesn't throw light very far, high diffusion, and very poor rain performance. If I lived somewhere else, they would probably be OK for long term use.

I run XB LED's right now with them, and am happy with Morimoto thus far.

Second that, man. HID is the way to go. I was in denial because the LED lights were so crisp and white. Decided otherwise when actually driving. I still use LED's for my Hi's and the Morimoto HID kit almost outperforms them. I may switch back to the stock halogens for my Hi's.

Somewhere in this labyrinth of TW someone has a great detailed post I just remembered it because it's very easy. Basically buy H9 bulbs I can post mine if you'd like, but basically have to cut/file a plastic tab off then cut a tiny metal piece off of the top... And done. If you hold the H11 next to a H9 you can see what different and just make them the same each bulb took me about 4 min.

I didn't have any fancy tools either,
I had really small files and small wire cutters.

Like I said though someone on here posted before and after pics just search H9 conversion or something like that man.

Thanks bud. You used a standard halogen H9 or like a xenon filled bulb similar to the Sylvania Ultra Bright?
