Not sure what this goes to as I have not traced anything down yet, been too busy with the 95.5 so thought I would ask here first.

This led is often lit, but not always. it is on when driving most times but I haven't seen a pattern. The truck does have some kind of alarm on it, although I do not have the fob and has never been activated to my knowledge, at least since I have owned it. The light is on sometimes when truck is off and parked, but again not always.

    Input is appreciated

Look under the dash, you might be able to see something that's not facory. It looks like some kind of add-on that some did. Not factory. Maybe an old alarm system. I was able to activate the add-on alarm on the wife's car and still drive it around. It toke a little dig-in to get rid of all it. On my 02, the 4 way flasher switch is in your led spot, and where your 4 way flasher is, mine is blank. Since you don't have the factory radio, could the led be linked to an amp?

Thank you. The stereo does not sound like it has an amp and the light is frequently on when it is parked without power. I will dig into it after I am done with my 95.5 build and have some spare time. Thank you for the input

Looks identical to what I have in my truck and its for my alarm system. Mine blinks when I have the security system activated. Not sure why yours would be turning on and off intermittently, unless the siren is disconnected and the security system itself is trying to go off (just a wild guess).

could also be a short somewhere making it light up when it touches?

since you know there is something installed you'll need to look at the module box and determine the make/model and see if you can get replacement fobs

or just pull it out and fill the space :)
