    I dropped the entire center unit and then used a small punch to push from the back side. Safer than prying on the lenses from inside the truck.

    Anyone replaced a/c temp..lights. ?...I got superbrightleds...NEO5-xHP cool white. ...the light on fan side went out...the temp side comes on and off sometime s....hope it is not a wiring issue

    SO.....whats the consensus on the brightest maplights and dome that match and a good set of license plate lights? Ive read thru all 5 pages and people changed them but never gave a new part number. Im over and SBLED and ready to order. Appreciate the help!

    Ive got the numbers home on what you need for sbled. I ordered mine on sunday used s 5% off discount and got them on wednesday. Man what a difference. Onlh thing I will say is the 4 wedge cool white for maps is a little too bright if driving.

    Wled-4x-x:194 or WLED-W4-90 for maps parking and plates. As well as shifter I think.

    Dome is 3910-6 3910 or 3910 - CW6

    New member and site is great! I just got my Tacoma a couple of weeks ago and planning to do some cheap mods to start. Does anyone have any idea on how to pop off the actual cover for the license plate lights. I was changing out my stock bulbs to LEDS and everything was going smoothly. Until I got to the second light, the LED bulb fell off the socket when I was trying to screw it back on, LED bulb is now loose inside the light housing. Help!

    The trick with removing the difficult bulbs in the front map lights is to use small tie-wraps.

    Tighten it around the bulb then pull.. bingo...

    i got mine from superled. the dome bulb was too big. need to return. installed map lights just fine but jesus are they bright. is there an led bulb that is less bright?!
