71pktDHArDL.jpg I have these backup LED lights to install once I get my bed light kit. Will be doing both at the same time as I only want to remove the tail lights once.

From the website...just like I said. Too much Meso fanboy-ing on this thread. It'd be A LOT more helpful if it was a wider discussion including many other brands and products.

Ok, well, I'm not a fanboy for one thing, and I understood you to say he only sold dome lights, which, is simply not true, so if I misunderstood your post, I apologize. Try to calm down, it will be ok.

It’s in the new products category on the website currently, how long has it been there? Could he have checked the site prior to release? Weren’t the old style gone for awhile?

There is absolutely no need to white knight MESO, they make plenty of money here and there is plenty room for difference of opinion in styling choices.

I still don't understand your point, and why you feel I'm "white knighting" him, but whatever. The beautiful thing overall is you're free to choose to do whatever you want. Good luck to you. On to Cincinnati.

My point was that when the guy looked at the website, the map lights may have not been there or available as he updated them recently. They are now available though. So you both could be correct.

If you don't want ppl to react negatively to you, don't be a dick.

I went to the website a couple weeks ago and there were only dome lights shown there. It's as simple as that.

Anyone else think that LEDs for the license plate are too bright? I installed some and had to remove them because they made the backup camera almost unusable at night from the glare.

philips make some and they sell on Amazon that aren’t as bright. I’ve thought about putting those in my license plate for the same reason.

I replaced the OEM interior map bulbs and rear dome light in my 2020 Tacoma ACC cab with Sylvania LED bulbs available at Autozone, O'Reilly and Advance.

Rear dome Sylvania DE3175 Zevo ($9.99) tight fit but it does fit correctly

Front map lights Sylvania 2825 Zevo (2 pack) ($19.99)

As per the earlier posts, it is much easier to remove the light housings than attempt to change the bulbs by removing the lenses with the housing in place.

That looks really good... and functional. I need to do this too.

Has anybody found a retailer that has meso stuff in stock? Been on tacomabeast, runnin4tacos, xtremetacoma, and the meso website, but I can't seem to find any in stock anywhere.

I absolutely love the Meso lights. If you need to look at anything with color coding in the dark (like a paper topo map), the crisp white light is 1000x better than the OEM orange-hued bulbs. Yeah -- they're bright. If you need your detailed night vision back right away, that could be annoying.

Yeah, that's why I want to get the red dome and map lights, but I can't find any in stock.

I'd have bought the meso customs lights but they only come in black plastic. My SR5 has the lighter grey inside.

I got this kit on the recommendation of a YouTuber
    https://www.amazon.com/dp/B016XZ42HW/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awdb_imm_RX7W692CGJ4EEEXDZN2X?_encoding=UTF8

The one map light bulb started to flash last week so not sure I'd recommend that kit. So far the other bulbs have been no issue.

I replaced the map lights with sylvania zevo LEDs, those are brighter than what came in that kit. Look better made too.
