So i tried to dig up some photos of led light bars mounted in the lower part of the front bumper on a first gen...i cant find any pictures to see what it looks like. Someone made a thread awhile back asking the same question but no one responded...so anyone have pictures of this on a first gen..
    thanks in advance
(Also i have a picture of one on a second gen just to clarify what im talking about)

It's the 21s from blitzpro. So it's 21 inches long.

I tried doing that with the blitzpro 21s too. I couldn't get the damn bumper off because the nuts were so rusted. So I just drilled into the chrome portion of the bumper and mounted it there. I'm eventually getting a new plate or tube bumper anyway so whatever.

    X2

I will eventually be utilizing my bar elsewhere and getting two light force spots. The led bar is nice, but it really isn't anything but a big fog lamp.

Hid fogs? Hmm never seen them. I had roof lights on my jeep they were cheapo halogens but i put high intensity. Bulbs in them. Had to use a thick gauge wire too. And the were pretty bright but i think the led looks brighter. But i might look into hid fogs just out of curiousity just cuz i like to learn new things

    Not HID fogs.

A fog light is not supposed t be bright but a nice low intensity light with a wide spread meant to be mounted as low as possible. They work great in foggy dusty situations.

A hid should go up higher due to the power. I'd put TW hella 500 converted hid lights behind the grill.

Led bar would be a nice fill light with the HIDs.

So the driving lamps are the spot lights like what you have on your roof rack, right? Just not hid

They are Hellas converted to 55w hid.

I believe mine are the FFs. Which has sorta a hybrid lens to help cast light a bit wider while still retaining a main sport.

But yes. Basically the driving lights.

That has to do more with the lens then the bulb.

But generally yes usually a spot light.

Soon as my photo bucket is working again I can show you.
