?

Should I move it to the rear? Does it not help?

  1. Move it to the back

    Howdy fellow taco owners.

I recently had my roof mounted 50in curved led bar removed because of the damned noise. The door trim solution worked quite well so aslong as I didnt go on a road trip. I little by little lost parts of the door trim (sorry if I hit anyone) until it completely came off. Then I had a little road trip, mostly 70MPH and under. The noise was horrible. Idk if you're ever been in a small airplane, but thats what it sounded like. I couldnt even keep a conversation inside the truck. So far the bar is off of my truck and Im looking at where to relocate. I guy at a local shop told me that he could find a way to weld it on to my SOS bumper, but Im not feeling that too much. The other option I have is to add a head ache rack and put the bar on there. I've been told that it does not bother you much once its moved out to the back of the truck. My question and I guess the pint of this long post is; Those of you who have LED bars on your head ache racks/roll bars/sports bars, does it make a lot of noice and create a lot of drag? Would it be worth it to buy a head ache rack and relocate it? Should I just cut my losses and add a smaller bar on the front of my truck?
