not sure how well lens covers would work, as far as getting a real nice amber color. the amber light bars are typically amber leds and have a real nice orange glow to em, but ill do some research and see what i can come up with.

package deal, one 10" dual row light bar and one 20" dual row light bar for $625.00. both are spot beams, which is the better, brighter light output.
    that's a savings of $100.
light up your front and your rear with this package.

I'm interested in the individuals- can I get some specs on them? I'd be mounting on my bike, looking for longer range driving lights rather than the fog lights I have.

they are spot pattern...dont have any photometrics.
i will be ordering a case of these soon....once i have them in hand i will attempt to put together some shots of the product. although i have bought other light bars from this company and those were amazing...light output, durability, design...so i have no doubt these will be amazing as well. I will personally be using these as reverse lights as well as my campground lighting.

I did a review on some other lights a couple of weeks ago. If you read it, you know what I'm trying to accomplish. I know a lot of guys in my club are looking for the same thing, and like myself, having to settle for "be seen" lights, when what we really want are good driving lights.
The photometric chart will show me a lot of what I need to know, when you get it. At least the reflectors show some promise.

    # 9629 & 9630 should do the trick. No isoplots or anything, and I haven't seen them in use (nor anyone), but it was discussed on Candlepower forums and it seems promising. I want a set!

Sorry probably off-topic, but those LED units look killer. Might be the first real new/innovative thing from KC in a long time.

Those kc's look promising, but my leds are 10 watts each. Guaranteed more power than the kc's. Also they're 2"x2", so they can be mounted pretty much anywhere....rock lights, reverse, roof racks..etc. also, you can attach as many of them as you like to one another. So in essence, you can create your own light bars with these things for cheaper and have a higher lumen output. They also do come in spot or flood, but I recommend spot.

Oh yes, absolutely. I think those KC's run over $1200 each (list price at least). Your prices and parts are great, and for most people (how they use them) what you have will be more effective.

The KC's are meant for desert racers and the like that need super-long-distance. You might get more raw lumens out of 30 2x2" lights, but I can guarantee if those KC's were properly engineered they will have much more reach on the spot. It's just the nature of things, all things equal a bigger reflector will make more light. For example, as I understand it, the 2 Lightforce 240's I had on my truck are about the same brightness as 4 Lightforce 140's, even though they have the same bulb.

The KC design is really interesting, because it mimics the design coming out of the new OEM LED setups, with the light bouncing off a reflector--which probably "guides" more of the light than the typical forward-facing LED. I can't wait until someone finally gets their hands on them and starts testing them.

Anyway, sorry, didn't mean to be off-topic, I just think they are cool. I would really like one of these light bars that you are selling for my truck, as I think they are great for basic off-roading at less-than-race-speed, very low power draw, etc. Once I get my truck paid off I think I am going to have to pick one up. :D

Only $1200 each? I'll take four.
That's just retarded...no offense to any retarded taco owners out there...you know who you are.
That's the exact reason I started getting these lights for myself and others...these manufacturers think because they have something "special" they can charge whatever they like, when it costs them $100 to make.
