I am thinking about adding a stealth mount 32" LED light bar to my truck, but I want them wired into my high beams. Does anybody know if this is possible and is there a write up on this?

ANYTHING is POSSIBLE. I'd like to do this to my ditch lights. Unfortunately i am an automotive electrical disaster waiting to unfold.

Yes .. all you need to do is find your high beam fuse, use a mini fuse tap off the light bar switch and plug into fuse location for the high beams
I have the 16' SR5 and i just received my CaliRaised 5D light bar, i am going to use their wiring harness but add a MicTuning light bar switch that fits in factory opening left of steering wheel .. below is a video showing the switch and wiring (you can see the fuse tap i am referring to)

It's a work in progress. See my build thread.
At least in VA, this would make you fail the annual inspection. But certainly possible.

If he wired in a bypass switch where he could disable the light bar for inspection purposes, and turn it back on afterwards. Put the disable switch in a discreet location and its all o.k.

Now to the OP, you have to be careful in doing this because if you go tying into the factory light harness and something goes wrong, you have voided your warranty, and without proper auto electrical experience, especially with CAN BUS systems, its easy for something to go wrong.

Its not the light bar itself, it would be having a light bar on while the high beams are on.

I live in Md. so no problems with inspections. I definitely want to do this the right way. If I can`t reliably tie it into the high beams, I will just keep what I have.

You could just put it on its own independent switch. JS

and splice it to hot wire on switch then plug it into fuse for your high beams

Check your laws before wiring to come on with your lights, most LED light bars put out too much light and are illegal to run on public roads, even with high beam lights.

I did it with the fuse tap into one of the high beam fuses. Those two fuses are located in the engine box and are towards the rear-passenger side of the box.

The Cali wiring harness has three wires that run from the relay. Blue, white and black. Black is your ground and the white is the always-hot wire that ties in with the battery wire at the relay switch. The blue wire is hot when you turn your switch on and thus powers the lights via the relay (when done using the the plug-and-play method).

I cut the white wire about an inch from the relay and covered the stub with heat shrink since it's still going to be hot. I then spliced a piece of 16 gauge into the other side of this freshly cut wire and connected it to my add-a-circuit in the fuse box. To get it into the fuse box I drilled a hole through the floor of the box near the rear-passenger corner.

I cut off the plastic connector on the Cali harness, pulled it through the 3" rubber gasket gizmo on the firewall and connected to a Mictuning switch. It works. The switch has to be pressed and the hi-beams have to be on for the light bar to come on.

Oh yeah, you can drill out the relay bracket, find an 8mm bolt (I think that's what it is) and use one of the two empty bolt-holes after of the fuse box to mount it.
