Thanks, but I think for the price I can't beat the bar. I may try and put it in my grille, but more likely the lower grille and just ditch my front plate

Looks good!! Keep 'em coming!! I also had height/length issues with my mods. I don't want to leave my truck outside -- the garage is nice for both of us!!

Well that's true. Blitzpro could be brighter if they tried.

This is true, and with Rigid REDOING their E & SR series with higher quality components, and the new SR2 & E2 lines, the other stuff just doesnt even compare.

 guess some people don't care about the time and money companies spend on creating awesome products in the USA.

Well i guess i'd rather buy two bars for the price of one and it's more like "assemble" in the usa ;)

Hardly created in the usa. The cost mostly is in the technology and production, from china, and that doesn't really justify 2x or 3x the price so they can assemble it. I understand any market can have this sort of thing thrive but that's only because RI have been trail blazing the mainstream consumer market for high output LED lights for autos. This does not mean they have invented, developed, or god forbid, manufacture their own tech that has been in the works since long before RI was a twinkle in anyones eye. I mean, I know what you mean and I agree to the sentiment of quality but patent laws are so damn ridiculous and outdated these days. If I want to buy the cheaper alternative that is comprised of the same hardware only built by someone else and lacking marketing for a fraction of the price, I will. This is how capitalism works isn't it? And weren't patents born from the same ideology? Just saying...

On the other hand, I would be singing a very different tune if these light bars didn't have cree leds but maybe, dare I say, Rigid Industries LEDs? Or housings, circuit boards, regulators, etc. that are actually produced by them? That sure would shut people like me up.

x2. Side by side comparison with rigid is almost no difference.

for my 40" I did 10g + and 12g - from the light to the relay because it's what I had laying around. i wouldn't go less than 12. From the cab switch the to relay i used 16 or 14, doesn't really matter just a trigger wire

I just used the standard China-man wiring harness. But with a daystar switch
http://www.ebay.com/itm/1x-New-Car-...Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtr&hash=item35cfd2f42e. I think it is all 14g, but it is relayed

If I remember correctly, I believe my 32" Tontron 180W double row uses only 15A. A single halogen off road light uses about 10a EACH!

Most of the LED light bars already have a deutsch connector (the red & green plug on the harness), and the wiring harness also have them...makes for a nice clean install.

I'm using the wire harness that came with my bar. Looks to be about 18g wire.
