Yes I'm a picture whore... But here's how I mounted the 8 inch bars in the turn signal area, If anyone wanted to know... Looks pretty clean. Except my valance doesnt look all that clean being faded and scratched up a bit. But I will be replacing the whole front end with an off-road bumper in the near future anyways.

Tacoma Members interested in a 50" light bar set up. (NO DRILL SETUP)

I have finally found a free weekend to finish up the light bar mount templates, fabrication, fitment test and install.

This setup requires NO drilling what so ever! It utilizes the roof rack bolt holes from the factory on all DOUBLE CAB MODELS ONLY!

My setup has be finalized with NO WHISTLING or vibrations of the light.

The light line lands right on my hoodscoop with minimum glare on the window.

The light bar cannot be seen while sitting in the cab which is awesome and it is not above the overall roof line making it nice to still be able to go in parking garages!

NOTE: Trimming of the roof rail rubber was required to allow bracket to raise up through the side of it, but done very nicely it will reinstall and never look like it was altered.

I want to get my brackets out there for people to see and get their opinion on them.

I'm not committing to making these for a group buy yet but may be in the future if people like these.

I have attached some pics! Give me your input!

DONT FORGET I also sell 50" Cree LED light bars shipped for $400! I run sales every once in a while. If we get 5 people to commit to purchase 50" cree light bars I will give around a $15-$20 discount on them. So if you have any buddies wanting a light bar for their roof let me know.

Well I just blasted a cop sitting on the side of the road with all my lights on. Didn't even notice him till the last second. I switched em off when I did see him but it was too late. I'm sure he was blinded for a bit after that. Lmao. I thought for sure he'd chase me down, but nope! Of course there wasn't any other traffic at all in either direction and it's a pretty desolate highway, but still. And don't take this as a suggestion that cops don't care. I'm sure someone's been ticketed before. Was curious tho if I would ever get the chance to have this experience just to see if they'd make a fuss about it. But I'm sure if he was in the mood he wouldhave .

Nah he actually pulled out and went the opposite direction after I passed him.
Oh and what's with dudes running their lights during the day? Seen a couple trucks that did this now. Think they're cool using them as daytime running lights?? Lol.

I used mine last night/mid-afternoon because we had a small dust storm. I have an amber cover for my lights so I put them on my smaller bar. Just for extra visibility. I've seen lifted trucks have all of theirs on during the day. On the roof and on the bumpers. Pointless in my eyes.

Yeah I have a couple rigid amber srq on the hood that I was gonna replace with whites. But now that u mention dust storms, as we get some nasty ones where I live in az, I might just keep them and hook them up to a toggle instead of in series with others and use them for running lights in those scenarios just for better visibility for oncoming traffic to see me. Or maybe just relocate them somewhere else and add the ones I want on the hood.. hmm..

In reality, there are some bad drivers where I live. I'm just trying to give myself more room to say, "Hey, there's no way you DIDN'T see me." It wasn't that bad, but when any kid of weather hits us, no one knows how to drive. We usually just get hot or cold.

It sucks. When it rains here people either drive way too fast or not fast enough and cause accidents. It's just rain. Speaking of which, I've used my smaller bar with the amber in the rain. I just aimed it down more.

Speaking of which, here is my full setup as of 10 minutes ago. The lower bar has amber covers on it as I used it as a dust light for yesterday's dust storm here in town, better visibility:

Mini H1 6.0's on high beam
    30" Combo
    12" Flood w/amber filters(removable/movable to either bar)

Liking it. Kinda wish I went your route with the bar down below so I don't have to deal with windshield glare. Although I have to gloat and say I think it looks sick on the roof regardless and I've gotten used to dusting my windshield every night. And wish I had covers too. Thinking I might be able to make my own. Maybe make a little L bracket on the sides of the bar with a snap ring there so I can snap it on on the go. Cuz these little srq's don't do shit in the dust. Need something over the big ones to penetrate down the road.

Welp.. just installed my new high output alternator and the big 3, and I STILL have issues with lights flickering. Wtf. The only other thing I can think of is my wires are too small. Or they are drawing too much power from a single source. I got a blue sea fuse block so tomorrow I'm gonna put that in temporarily and see how they do. I was gonna tear ALL the wiring out and redo everything. But for now I'll hook it up to 4 gauge power straight to battery on the side post and wire them up to the fuse block with 12 gauge.
The wire I had them plugged to, was s single 10 gauge accessory wire coming out of the side post. With all the lights wired into that single wire. So I'm guessing that's my issue. Hoping that's it anyways. Ugh.
