Mounted and wired my AVEC 30" bar over the past two days. I'm happy with it.

Man, I haven't had time to test it out. I live in the city, but I'll use the light on the way to the cabin and camping soon. I'll get pics ASAP.

Where did you get that switch and does it fit in the location unmodified?

any advice on wiring up a 42inch led bar? It only has two wires coming out of it, pos/neg. Just need to know what gauge wiring to run and what not and how to set up the relay. Going to a simple non illuminated switch

relay is the normal relay set up you can find online super easy. I wouldnt go any smaller then 16 guage wire, there is a formula to figure out the correct wire size for your draw but I cant remember it. Heres a link that I used a long time ago for a project before someone gave me that formula.

    fuse/wire size

I apologize for not being able to really test it yet, but it is certainly bright IMO. This is the best I have for now. It seems to throw the light pretty far.

Hmmmm....... I think we need MOAR!!!:D

Looks pretty bright, but also looks like it's still a pretty focused beam. What optics, spot or flood or combo? And is the middle pic just the roof bar or all your lights?

It throws a nice clean beam. It is combo pattern. 1st pic is HID 35w projector headlights and halogen fogs, 2nd pic is the same lights plus the 50" bar. I'll get better pics as soon as I get the chance.

    Dayum^^

And I thought I was out of places to mount lights! Ha!

I like the flush mount bedside pods!! I may have to do that! Along with some flush mounts for reverse too which is next on my list.

Doing the flush mounts also, will do another pic of the rear. I already have 2 x 6" Rigid Industries SR2 Driving lights back there on my FrontRunner Slimline II Roof rack. I Recess mounted them and they look and perform great.

Did you cut the fenders yourself to fit those 35s?

Yes. Cut many fenders already. :pout: poor trucks, constantly getting beaten, cut, and commented on. Glad they don't have feelings

What other trimming/modification did you need to do in order to clear 35s with your 3" lift? That's pretty sweet!
