    Operational / Technical Specifications of the V2W:
    1. Primary power comes from the Tacoma's 12V lighting circuit via two wire taps.
    2. Power is controlled by turning the Tacoma's lighting ON/OFF.
    3. The unit will ONLY illuminate when the 3-position slide switch is moved to either the middle (primary ON) or right (secondary ON) positions.
    4. Light instensity of the Primary and Secondary LEDs is primarily adjusted by the Tacoma's dimmer. Fine-tuning the intensity is achieved by lightly touching the Touch-Sensitive Dimming Control (TSDC) circuit if the Tacoma's dimmer is somewhere between 100% and perhaps, 75%. Below that, the TSDC circuit is not as responsive due to the variable ground system TOYOTA uses.
    5. TSDC halo illumination intensity is affected by the Tacoma's dimmer circuit.
    6. When dismounted, the unit automatically switches to onboard batteries for remote lighting needs in the middle (primary ON) and right (secondary ON) positions.

    I am trying to decide between the battery and wired version. I am having some troube seeing the pictures on the website for the wired version (the only reason I am leaning more towards the battery version). Do you offer any written directions for the wiring dummies?

    I am in the process of adding some words to go along with the pictures on our website.

    If you've ever assembled a Radio Control plane or car... you'll have little difficulty installing the V2W. IF you are concerned, I would recommend the V1 - it installs in less than 30 seconds. No tools required. :)

    Operational / Technical Specifications of the V2W:
    1. Primary power comes from the Tacoma's 12V lighting circuit via two wire taps.
    2. Power is controlled by turning the Tacoma's lighting ON/OFF.
    3. The unit will ONLY illuminate when the 3-position slide switch is moved to either the middle (primary ON) or right (secondary ON) positions.
    4. Light instensity of the Primary and Secondary LEDs is primarily adjusted by the Tacoma's dimmer. Fine-tuning the intensity is achieved by lightly touching the Touch-Sensitive Dimming Control (TSDC) circuit if the Tacoma's dimmer is somewhere between 100% and perhaps, 75%. Below that, the TSDC circuit is not as responsive due to the variable ground system TOYOTA uses.
    5. TSDC halo illumination intensity is affected by the Tacoma's dimmer circuit.
    6. When dismounted, the unit automatically switches to onboard batteries for remote lighting needs in the middle (primary ON) and right (secondary ON) positions.

    A few mods here and there and counting....
    Installation was a breeze. I would recommend others to clean the under side of the stereo bezel with a rubbing alcohol pad to remove any residues as mine was having a hard time adhering as I have used f-20 dash cleaner often. I also noticed with my scosche stereo bezel, the notch wasn't required. Installation was less than 10 minutes. Looks great, works perfectly, great product.

    I think this is a really cool looking product but want to make sure I am understanding how these work. From what I understand they come on when your lights are on and can be controlled by the dimmer dial (that also dims the speedometer and other light in the truck) and are always on as long as your lights are? Also thinking out loud here but what if you could have the primary light on when the lights are on and then have the secondary (white) light come on when a door is opened like the dome lights. Just a thought because I have white LED dome lights and think that would be really bad ass to have them synchronized. Cool product and I am defiantly interested in it. :thumbsup:
