O.K. Here's my dollar two forty five request. You mentioned connecting to the dimmer wiring behind the radio. Can the tie in be done using a plug that you insert between an existing plug to prevent cutting wires and allow removal and restoration to original spec. so i can take it to my next Taco? Or if you have to, clip the wire and insert it into a plug that you don't have to solder for ease of installation? (I watched some electricians installing T8 ballast in old fluorescent lights by clipping the wire, stripping a quarter inch of insulation and sliding the wire into this connector that held it tight). Ideally, this piece would have several pigtails made onto it that would allow you to connect the soon to be available expansion FLYZEYE circuits for the cup holder, center console, glove box, floor boards (front and rear!) and door sills! Yep, after the first expansion of the V2W, all you have to do is purchase and snap your expansion to the already installed ready to upgrade kit. Just PM me, my prior enlisted EE mind is in overdrive with expansion ideas, LOL.

I like the way you think. Believe it or not, our original idea was to do exactly what you describe by placing a connector in between the OEM and our unit. The problem, unfortunately is because our production numbers are comparitively low still, we cannot afford to have such a connector made. I did some research on this and was unable to locate an existing part that would satisfy this requirement. Therefore, our design alternative does NOT require you to cut any OEM wires. IF it works as we expect it to, you need only locate the appropriate wires (we'll specify by release) and clip two high-quality AMP connectors over both the specified and new wires to complete the circuit. It should be pretty painless with respect to installation. Being a 'wired' unit, it will certainly require way more effort than the V1 but for those individuals that can install a non-OEM stereo or do basic wiring mods should have little trouble with this install.

As far as expansion pigtails for future modules goes, I don't expect that we'll go too far with this. The demand seems rather limited still. When we can recover from our initial investment, we may be able to entertain this idea. ;)

Please let me know if you have any other specific questions about the V2W. Thanks for taking the time to let us know your thoughts. Your effort is sincerely appreciated. Thanks.

All, the last and final component of the V2W is on its way from our supplier. Expect the V2W to become available late November / early December.
