the same way you did your bar.. and I plan on doing mine. laying the strip either in the inside of the plexi.. or just on the inside of the black bezel.. on the outside of the plexi.

the pic posted is what they are gonna look like. thats as "white" as you're gonna get.

unless you coat them with something.. but then that will take away from the LEDs themselves obviously.

I know TRS has their coated halos that actually look REALLY nice and clean (white full circle) then light up.. but.. they are only in solid colors.. and only halos.

Yeah, and actually for that specific thing, you can use some rgb l connectors

I'm going to give my $.02 about the led strips mentioned so y'all know before you buy. I have a set of the super night 5050 that I used for my light whip and I have to say that the light output is great but the connector adaptor that goes from the module to the light strip is very fragile. I broke it after the first 2 plug-ins and had to be creative to fix it but I much rather it after I modified it. Also the sensor is line of sight so I you plan on using it for the light bars then you'll have to be outside and point the remote directly at the sensor. I again modified that to put a sensor inside the cab as well as in the bed of my truck for different instances.IMG_6012_zpsad414c01_d8ddd3c74e19bc1f15862f05e6c279a4f26e62ef.jpg

Great work on the light bars by the way. I have 5 and they're all sealed but I wish I could do this.

this is because you are using an IR remote.. RF remotes (the ones Myself and MTopp are using) wont have this issue.

as far as the connectors, thanks for the heads up. I plan in making my own male/female connectors anyways, as I will have a slightly more complex setup, that will need some regardless, So I plan on just making them all on my own.

Right on RF and IR. I just skimmed the ebay page that was linked here and seen it was really close to what I bought and wanted to give a heads up to anyone who would be attempting this and be disappointed later on.

Yeah, but I don't think the strip will bend at 90°

i would be going around the inside edge of the housing.. so perpendicular to the plexi. but.. even then it might be a tight bend.. so i would use those RGB connectors, or just that sellers product.. wouldnt match the rest of the RGB strips.. but atleast it would be done.

Yeah, cool. Let me know what yours look like when you make them. I may just run two separate strips on top and bottom if I was gonna do that

Based off my shaved down edge idea, I am going to squeeze in one extra LED strip into the lightbar.

Those extra strips will be on both sides
