My kit will be here tomorrow, hopefully you get an answer, possibly a video. I’m surprised the instructions to go over this.

Just plug that in to the stock wiring harness. Wasn't aware that the Tacoma needed the anti flicker module.

@Pdog7 - The Tacoma does not need the flicker module. It looks like you've got everything set up properly, but the flicker module isn't required.

Send us a PM with your order info so we can further help you out with this but honestly it may not worth it by the time you pay for shipping back to Canada.

OMG Brett! Whiskey Tango Foxtrot!!!!!!! I thought for sure you either got abducted by aliens while snow boarding, banned or off and eloped and was on your honeymoon. I was literally at my breaking point and thought another week and I will have to call him to ask WTH!!!

Well, work pays the bills and nothing should ever interfere with life duties so you get a pass. :D

Glad you're back man, I missed ya! Now catch TF up!!!!!!! And get those lights installed so I can see what possibly my next mod might be!

    Rob

Oh yea, you've been gone so long @ToyoDrew is retired and now doing chain saw wood carvings in Illinois and runs a Chicago style pizza joint on the side.

    @Pdog7,

Sorry for slackin' and not being any help here until now. I've been a little busy around the house doing chores and work is totally insane right now, which is when I am online the most.

Ok, so the "Anti-Flicker Device" is also known as a Canbus device. As others have already stated, these are not needed on our trucks and are primarily required in European applications. The website has the option for this or not when you place the order. If you did not order it with that option, then it was obviously mistakenly sent. No big deal, just disconnect that portion of the harness. There is no price difference with or without when you order so you can keep it or toss it. But it will add more length to the harness that is not necessary.

The rubber grommet (and again, I failed to explain this in my reviews, sorry), as it was explained to me, is for certain vehicles that also run the H11 bulbs (ours is not the only one) where the headlight housing has an outer enclosure and the grommet would be required to make the enclosure air tight. Again, our trucks do not have that outer housing. So it hangs along with the harness in the area behind the housing. As a matter of fact, when I get some free time I am going to carefully remove the grommet from the harness.

Hope this helps and again, sorry for the delay.
    Rob

My Xenon Depot H11's arrived today. Does anyone have a picture of where they are putting the drivers? Fastening with a zip tie the way to go?

Yea, I am just using zip ties and letting things hang. There is a horizontal cross member/brace that I am using for support.

No slacking at all. It was your review and the awesome customer service from XenonDepot that sold me on them. I just figured since I had six of the anti flicker modules they may want them back. Thanks for the review and pics! I’ll post back when I get them installed.

I got the High Beams and tag lights installed this evening. I'll save the LB's for tomorrow. Initial impression: Wow, what an amazing amount of (non-yellowed) light. A truck this new should not have old, yellow-lights. Feels better already.

Thoughts/Reflections on process - Everything was straight forward. It took me a few tries to get the diodes to 3 and 9 o'clock. (That was the majority of the time.) Also, per, @RobP62, I went ahead and (carefully) cut the grommets off before install.

I want to go ahead and thank @RobP62 for being the LED guru, and leading the way. Also, I appreciate @XenonDepot for getting those lights out so quick.

I am sure I will have another question tomorrow, so stay close to the computer Rob. :)

    Glad to help. Good point.

I'll do my best to answer anyone's questions as quickly as possible.

Also, I really do appreciate the very kind words but honestly, the true fore fathers of this thread are who I owe everything I know to. They taught me and I'm just happy to be able to share that knowledge.

Just got my LEDs installed from Xenon Depot, they look great! I haven’t used them at night yet so will update when I have.

    Looks great.

How much adjustments are people generally having to do on their LBs?
