Thanks for this support. The team does appreciate it.

Yes they always had those. It is the 7443 in red correct? The 7443 x4 brake/tail/turn are all here but it is confusing - just choose red 7443:
    http://deautokey.com/product/universal-rear-turn-signal-leds-fits-all-car-models

    And some really good news.

Initial testing of the 7443 solid amber and 7443 switchback amber/white went 100% and they will release it later this month! They require NO WIRING/NO HARNESS/NO RESISTORS.

What they have so far - LINKS NOW ADDED (just click):
    -Interior LED kit
    -License Plate LEDs
    -Front 7440 turns
    -7443 brake
    -7443 red rear turn
    -H11 yellow/white fog
    -License plate
    -Reverse
    -HID H11 LOW BEAM Kit
    -Side Markers

    Working for 2019:
-true plug and play switchback for the cars that use 7443 as DRL/TURNS
-true plug and play solid amber
-both are almost done! Stay tuned!

And this is not suppose to be out yet but they are working on some other LEDs - if someone takes a guess I will confirm if it is correct. :)

I have tried a 30mm led in the dome light of my 2018 and it just doesn't sit correctly. The ends aren't nearly as pointed as the incident I removed. I can see some people have this problem while others don't. What gives? Any luck with the smaller size? 27mm?

Do you or anyone else actually have video for the comparison that we can see? I'm interested in these bulbs but this comment has me concerned. Thanks

Also interested in seeing a comparison video. I want to get their taillight bulbs and rear turns but am concerned about this.

Here's how it looked when I tried them. Most of the ambient flashing light you see is from the mirror indicators. I returned these as I considered this hardly noticeable, and unsafe.

Thanks for sharing - in person/real world driving we did not miss it when someone was hitting the brake and many who tried it didn't have an issue with the contrast.

It is currently at a 3:1 ratio and would not lie and say it is higher ratio when it is not. They can work in making it more noticeable by lowering the brightness of the tails and release that model soon. They already have tested with a few but if you want to join in and see if you like it better please email them @LA_Stu

And please know they are not diminishing your opinion as you have the right and do not disagree with you but honestly sharing some real feedback from customers and their won testing.

But as you know they want customers to be 10000% happy and will engineer a better bulb that has more contrast.

    Thanks for the video/feedback.

Yes, as you can see in LA_Stu's post the tail bulbs are just too bright before the flash for the flash to make enough of a difference for some of us (in our opinions). However, it sound like deAutoLED will make some changes and release a better contrast ratio. Fingers crossed!

Has anyone else had issues with LED bulbs dying after installing in your 3rd gen Tacoma? I'm not referring to any brand in particular, so please share if you've had any problems like mine.

My license plate LED bulbs were working great until today. The right side bulb died entirely and the left side bulb died partially (some diodes stopped working). Additionally, my LED map lights were working great, but today both sides started flickering, which is usually a sign of imminent failure (my license plate bulbs also flickered before dying).

All of these problematic bulbs are bright aftermarket bulbs. I have not had issues at all with the usual Sylvania LED wedge-type bulbs seen in most stores, but those bulbs leave much to be desired in both brightness and color.

    Welcome to the forum!

There was a guy a million posts ago that had similar results from some of the bulbs he had tried. They were great at first but then ultimately flickered and died.

All I can suggest is to replace your bulbs with better ones that have a longer warranty, or ones so cheap it won't matter. Mine are over a year old and work flawlessly and cost a buck a piece.

My bulbs have that lifetime warranty we all know, but I don't see the point using LEDs if they're going to fail. One of the main reasons I like LEDs is to avoid replacing bulbs. Additionally, I love the brightness and white color LEDs provide.

Maybe I'll have to try some other bulbs.

    What brand are they?

You should check these out for your map and dome lights:

He's a member on the forum that custom makes these. These are as good as it gets for me and thousands of other members on here.

I've been trying to replace everything with deAutoLED bulbs. They are working with me to remedy the issues I've had.

I'm aware of meso's work and it is impressive, but are those parts 3D printed? I would personally not put an unfinished 3D printed part into my nearly $40K truck, at least where visible. Plus, it looks like he's all sold out :)

Ahh, cool, from what I hear they have excellent customer service so if you are having issues with their products I can't imagine them standing you up.

Yes, 3D and yes, not quite the same finish as the plastic housing they are in but they are damn close. You can't beat the performance though. But I feel ya. We all customize differently which makes us unique.

I liked mine too, before they died. They looked about like yours.

It just seems very unlikely that I've gotten faulty bulbs, since 5 out of 5 of the bulbs I've installed in the map light or license plate light positions have given me issues. I'm wondering if my truck (or the 3rd gen Tacoma generally) is giving voltage swings causing issues with the diodes. And even if the truck is giving voltage swings, is it the fault of the truck or bulb that such swings would cause bulb failures? I think the bulbs should have some operational window.

My truck is new as of October 2018 with no other mods.
