According to that post there are 3 bulbs in total. I'll just go with that and order 4x the new HO VLEDS in red. If they hyperflash I'll deal with it one end at a time.

Installed these today in license plate. Very easy, counter turn off, clock wise back on. Looks like it should have looked when buying a $44k truck. Still can't convince myself to tackle turn signals, just don't see the need or the point.

I said the same, then changed the brake lights and it looked tons better. So I decided to use resistors on the tails/turns and it looks way better.

Once I saw the bed light which is factory LED and did the plate lights, I had to do reverse lights. Then watched vids on turn signals and brake lights so figured I might as well while I'm in there.

Diode dynamics calls hyper flashing a modern turn signal rate. So that's like, a selling feature now. Who can say no?

Well I almost said no based on the pricing but decided to go all in on the back end for now. $210 for the 6 bulbs for the tail lights seems a little steep, but the Pro isn't cheap anyways.

$240 for Triton V6 front turn signals with resistors will have to wait.

Yup! Threw in diode dynamics all around on my new off-road today and had no hyperblink with the motor off. Turned the engine on and there it was. Installing the resistors tomorrow, thanks for your links made it look easy

As I said, it seems intimidating but it's really easy.

Might be too late, but I came across those:

    https://www.amazon.com/dp/B071JNHMP3/_encoding=UTF8?coliid=I1KSW3CGN3WGUG&colid=2X0QQWPPVOHOK&th=1

Those might fix rear hyper flash. Not sure if 2nd set of resistors (looks like parking lihgts) is really needed , but I'll install those when I'll do my conversion.

Oops, I thought that you posted the ones for 7440 (2 wire ) plugs, these are designed for 7443 (3 and for some reason 4 wire) plugs.

I guess I'll try to return them sooner or later

OK. Cool. Stuff is ordered, not shipped yet. So might be a week or so before I'll be able to get to it. But I will update.

I used some universal resistors with quick splices which was super easy. If these work for front/rear I wanna know, as I would add them to the front.

If we need a 5OW 6ohm on both wires, per side, I'd still rather by the plug in harness and modify that leaving my factory wiring untouched. Let me know how it works, and maybe I'll buy both and replace the resistors myself.

Hmmm, you said 6 Ohm... The ones I ordered are 8 Ohm.
I'll check it out when it comes in

I used the diode dynamics resistor kit on the back, made good contact but it didn't fix the hyperblink...I had ordered the 7440 in line resistors as well before I saw that they didn't work. I'm going to throw them on the fronts and see if that does the trick.

I had no issues. You sure you had a good connection or tapped into the correct wires? Did you tug on the wires?

    Orlandoech used 6s with success.

I didn't even paid any attention to Ohm rating, until you brought it up.
How I will have to research how bad would it ef things up.
    Hopefully not too much :fingerscrossed:
