So I just installed those rear tail light LEDs and they hyperflash when the tail lights are on. But not when the lights are off. Anyone else seen this? Fixed this?

Careful though, cheaper ones will over heat

I'm sure that'd help but how? I mean I don't want to solder some 100W resistor in the tail light assy.

Only way I know of. Need to tap a resistor into the turn signal line, 1 side into positive, one into ground line.

Alot of auto places carry them now. I've seen them at a few autozones and O'Reilly.

I didn't have that issue with mine when I installed them on my truck. Which brand did u go with? I've changed all exterior lights now, with 0 issues on hyper flash anywhere.

Ahh, I used all Sylvania brand for my stuff. Wanted something name brand, that's common to get. Usually they're easier to work with. Probably not as bright as what you have, but have had 0 issues.

Interesting that your LEDs didn't require the resistor. I was hoping the ones I got wouldn't either because the OP said he never had any hyperflashing and specified the ones I purchased. Oh well, not the end of the world to return them. Thanks.

Those look promising. Wonder if the fan is audible within the cabin.

Interior LEDs, all weather mats, TRD performance CAI, trifold hard tonneau cover, predator pro step, accessory interior/exterior illumination package. Kicker tweeters, Kicker speakers.
Did this bulb fit in the drivers side low beam without having to remove the headlight assembly?

It's fairly easy, I used the T taps that came with the resistors, you'll spend about 5 minutes on each side, just take your time. I used double sided tape for now to mount resistors, it should hold. it was dark and didn't want to try to screw them in, I will do that at a later time.

So I didn't really want to cut into my wires so I just put the stock bulbs back into the tail turn signal slot and retained the LED bulb for the non-flashing tail light. I honestly can't tell which one is stock vs. LED even though I know which is which. I'll go with that compromise. So a little less current draw on the alternator and no resistor/wire cutting.

So I have the Morimoto 2stroke LED bulbs and latetly I’ve noticed that my passenger bulb would randomly dim when idling at stoplights on occasion. So I gave these a shot. I really like that there is no ballast to them like the 2strokes. These are easy to install. No need to loosen the headlight like the 2strokes.

Picture below is with the Beamtech bulb installed in the passenger side and the 2stroke in the driver side. I cannot tell any difference in the pattern, or output. I can slightly see the color difference against the fence but I don’t have an issue with that. Both colors are fine with me. I’m very impressed initially. I’ll probably install the 2strokes in my high beams now since I have them. But I’m tempted to get another pair of these so I don’t have the ballasts there either.

    Great find @itsmermf !
