LED lights (blinkers)

I have been wanting to switch over to all LED for exterior lights and have ordered various parts nut they all have failed to live up and I have apile of them sitting here. For instance, I order 1157s and they were reversed so they didnt even fit properly. Has anyone completed the mod to LED in front and read LEDs and what suppliers did you use? What relay did you use and where is that located exactly? I really want to switch to LEDs as they give such better light at night. I have the bqackups and running light done but the rest are waiting. The 1157s in the rear are the ones I have had a difficult time finding that were any good. Suggestions?
