    I swapped out taillights and plan on headlights also I have the dreaded hyper flashing going on and want to know if anyone has found a DTRL compatible flasher relay I have been on diode dynamics site and had no luck really would like to avoid resistors any advice would be appreciated

    I did full swap with LED in my headlights and taillights and ran into the same problem and could not find anything to resolve it. You can still run everything LED just not the turn signals. That is what I do and in my opinion it is better than not running LED at all.

    There is no flasher or flasher relay on the 3rd gens. The turn signals are controlled by the "combination meter". If you're going to use LED turn signals, you either have hyper flash or add load resistors to mimic incandescent bulbs. There are LEDs available that have built in load resistors, but the selection is limited.
