Anyone used the existing bolts on the back bumper of a 1st gen to install LED pods? I’ve got a 2004 prerunner. I want to install pods to help me see better through my tint to back up. Any help and pod recommendations appreciated!

    Welcome to the forum!!

Are you talking surface mount ??

I would have them smashed in a day.

Perhaps cut the bumper out and flush mount them

It is possible to up grade the bulbs in the reverse lights to a brighter option.

As for LED lights I tend to go with the NAPA options or Grote lights .

It seems you get what you pay for!

Just get a new head unit or review mirror with a backup camera. It's one of the best updates you can do for the 'ol gal.
