LED Strips For Rock Lights, Bed Lights, etc

Where do you plan on putting them? If I cut them off the actual 16' strip they will no longer be as waterproof unless you silicone them up real nicely.

Hmm... How long? I can cut them at 4 inch increments and wire them up in green for you, then I would probably use epoxy to try and seal them up. I'm not sure how well that would work though. The sleeves that hold the LEDs are a type of silicone. Does anyone know how well epoxy sticks to silicone?

 

One four inch strip would probably be enough for what I want to do. And I would think a two part plastic epoxy would stick but I don't know. when you say wire them up in green, does that mean you could do white as well?

 

Yep, but it would be from a combination of Red Green and Blue, So it wouldn't be as pure of a white as just a white led

 

Understood. Any chance you could get a roll of cool white? And what would a small strip of the green cost? Say two feet?

I can wire them up to amber, but I'll have to use resistors to get a good amber. If I just wire up red and green at the same power it comes out yellow.
