I just put on pod light and the led switch won’t turn off after I put it into the fuse box under the panel , could it be I put it in the wrong fuse ?

I'm guessing there's three wires coming out of the back of the switch?

There is 4 wires and I bought a part that has a fuse connection with a wire to connect to the 4 wire and the part comes with to fuse inlets , does that mean it has to have a fuse ?

Pictures would be helpful. I have an idea of what is wrong but want to be sure.

I plugged it into an open slot and I also tried with a5 and when plugged into a 5 I put the fuse in the adapter with cable

Yeah. The adapter should have two fuses in it.

It has 2 open slots so I would put the one you mentioned and there would be one open slot , do I leave that slot open or buy a fuse to put in it and if so what fuse?

You'll need to buy a second fuse. Get another 7.5 to go in there. Once you unplug the adapter, does the light on the switch turn off?

The green wire, and the red wire directly next to it. Swap those two.

Yeah try that first. When you put it in TAIL, the light should only switch on when your tail lights/headlights are on. I'm signing off for the night but we can pick up tomorrow if that doesn't fix it
