LED Tail Light Bulbs?

Hello,

I recently bought a set of these tail lights for my '15.

They take LED bulbs and I'm wondering what others have used or suggest for the reverse and signal lights. I don't have a lot of experience with exterior LEDs so I need a little push in the right direction.

I hear people talk about relays with LEDs, would I need to add that as well?

Would these work for the reverse lights?

For signals, I would just use a stock bulb. LEDs often cause hyper flash in a signal and then you need to install resisters. All more work than it is worth IMO.

 

Thanks, I've read up a little on that now. I put amber LEDs in the turn signals and got the hyper flash. Just bought resistors at O'Reilly's tonight but don't know anything about them yet. Actually I know less than nothing.

I thought about just running the regular bulbs but there's no reflector bowls in these lights. I don't know if the bulbs would be bright enough without them.

 

I just replaced my backup light bulbs with 6000k LED bulbs and now my stock tail lights won’t work.

Anyone have help?
