wi_taco I didn’t need to buy a new harness. Everything fit with the OEM one. I’m waiting for
the Ostram gy6.35 bulbs to come in. When they do I’ll take photos as I’m changing out the bulbs to fit. What brand are your lights? Mine are VIPMOTOZ from Amazon

Thanks will be interested to see what your sockets look like. I'd imagine your 2013 would match my 2015 but seems like not all of these are the same.

Your lights may have been sold/rebranded as VIPMOTOZ but they are actually made by Spyder. On the Amazon page for your lights it gives part number AZN-OT-TT05-LBLED-BK which is a Spyder part format. My lights were ordered from eBay shop dt_moto and have Spyder part number ALT-ON-TT05-LBLED-RC which are basically the same as yours with a red outer lens rather than clear.

I went ahead and ordered Toyota non-LED pigtail harnesses 81555-04150 because they are fairly inexpensive and I'm taking a flyer they will work. Will post back results probably next week after parts come in.

Coming back to confirm that the Toyota 81555-04150 "non-LED" tail light harness solved my issues and allowed me to install the Spyder units. Here is a comparison of the harness plugs - OEM "LED" variant on the left, "Non-LED" 04150 variant on the right.

Finished product, these look so damn good. Honestly should have come like this from the factory.

Happy it worked out for you. Just got my bulbs in and gonna swap them out tomorrow. Still wondering why my harness fit and yours didn’t but at least you got it working

Here’s photos of my harness that fit just fine in the lights. 8C1DBD5F-F1AC-4E69-B36A-15075E10AAE2.jpg

Great thanks, that matches the 04150 harness that worked on mine. Very odd that some trucks have them and some don't even with the same OEM LED tail lights. Basically added $50 to my light swap project but still worth it to me now that I'm done with the ugly stock units.
