Just built a flatbed for my ‘04, but wiring the lights has proved to be actually a pain. Got some LED trailer lights and wired them in but the right side is dim and somehow connected to the reverse light. Double triple checked the wires but they’re hooked up right. Any ideas?

Check and recheck your ground wires and maybe add a ground wire to each light. Most trailer lights ground from their mounting bolts, notoriously bad! Almost all automotive lighting problems can be chased back to a bad ground.
